Jonny does laundry!

So, my husband does a lot of great stuff. He works really hard at the office, he coaches kids sports teams, spends time with me and the kids, works hard outside and cooks whenever he's around, bishopric stuff and is a good son and son-in-law, but, he does not do laundry!!!

Sometimes he'll help me fold it, if he sees me doing it at night, and feels guilty, but as a general rule, it's a big no, one of those jobs that falls into the ALL MINE department.
So imagine my surprise when I came up last night from the basement and he'd done a load and folded another, and then this morning BEFORE he went to work (at 7am) he'd done the same!
I asked him about it and he said "I just love you and you do a lot for us!"
Now, I don't know why he did it, whether it really was cuz he loves me, or cuz he usually sees me at my worst (about 5 pm) and thinks I'm going to go off the deep end anytime soon, or if he's finally had it with my laundry mistakes :{ or if it's Valentines Day, I don't know...but I do know that I'm a pretty lucky girl.... and I'll take it!!!!!! He's the best! I'm so thankful for him, even if he doesn't usually do laundry!!!!

You at your worst, what would that look like? That is a really sweet thing for him to do!

Cathi, I loved this post...Kev is the same way when it comes to laundry...he does do all the ironing though so I gotta give him props for that...I could give you a run for your money when it comes to laundry mistakes...the happiest day of my life was last year when we put a laundry room in the basement for my big kids to do their own laundry, I think they do a better job than I do :)

Ha ha -- at your worst at 5 pm!! I'm so glad it's not just me! (that's the best thing about reading people's blogs!!) I heard someone say once that's "gangrene time" -- at that time, if something's not working, you just have to cut it off! Yeah, we love 5 pm around here.

Jeremy needs to hang out with Jon more often! Maybe it would rub off! :)
